ADERCO 2080G – Fuel Conditioner
ADERCO 2080G is a multifunctional fuel conditioner designed to improve fuel quality, maintain storage tank cleanliness, and enhance combustion performance. The product is formulated from 100% vegetal-organic derivatives and is environmentally responsible. It is self-dispersant and begins acting immediately upon introduction into the fuel system.
Product Functions
ADERCO 2080G provides four primary functions:
Disperses sludge and fuel degradation residues
Inhibits microbial growth in fuel systems
Stabilizes fuel during storage and operation
Improves combustion efficiency
The conditioning process includes desluging, dewatering, stabilization, and homogenization of the fuel. These processes commence as soon as the product is introduced into the fuel.
Application Instructions
ADERCO 2080G may be introduced into main fuel tanks or double bottom tanks through the feed line, sounding pipe, or vent pipe prior to bunkering or fuelling operations.
If bunkering or fuelling has already been completed, the product may be introduced through the sounding or vent pipes. Compressed air may be used if necessary to ensure proper injection and distribution within the tank.
Residency time will vary depending on tank size and operational conditions. It is recommended to consult with a technical representative to ensure optimal effectiveness.
During the first 10–12 days of treatment, filters and separators should be monitored regularly, and water should be drained from tanks as required.
Containers must be kept tightly sealed and protected from direct sunlight and frost.
Dosage
Initial Treatment:
2 liters per 25 metric tonnes of fuel (applied during the first bunkering or initial cleaning phase).
Continuous Treatment:
1 liter per 25 metric tonnes of fuel (applied for subsequent bunkerings and maintenance).
Safety and Handling
Classification according to relevant European regulations indicates the product may cause irritation to eyes, skin, and the respiratory system.
Precautionary measures include:
Avoid breathing dust, fumes, gas, mist, vapours, or spray.
Use only outdoors or in a well-ventilated area.
Wear protective gloves, protective clothing, and eye/face protection.
Wash thoroughly after handling.
In case of contact:
Skin: Wash with plenty of soap and water.
Eyes: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing.
Inhalation: Remove person to fresh air and keep comfortable for breathing.
Keep out of reach of children.
